Imagine John Wayne got amnesia and remembered the attitude but not a lot else. Now imagine six of him starring in a film by a first time director who doesn’t really understand what he’s doing. Now imagine, for authenticity, they’ve filmed it in the real west but no one thought to tell the locals. Yup, you’re starting to get close. Pulp Western where attitude is everything and skill is an optional extra.
