In an Alchemical Baroque fairytale world, four cats have to save their town.

In an “alchemical baroque” world of ghosts and fairies, muskets and cannon, trolls and witches, cats can of course be wise creatures, as shrewd as most humans and more aware of the invisible world – although when that awareness tells them that All Is Not Well, not all of those lumbering humans will listen. But fortunately for the town of Luckenberg, when the local cats hear of trouble, there is one especially lumbering human who will listen to them. Though whether he will understand remains to be seen.

GM: Phil Masters

System: GURPS 4th Edition

Intended Ages: 13+

Play a rebel cell striking back against the empire in the aftermath of the destruction of Alderaan

The story will be set orbiting the gas giant Wayland.
The players represent a rebel cell on this world attempting to sabitage Imperial weapon production. The latest toys they’ve been given to play with, a squadron of x-wing fighters.

What’s the quickest way from point A to B. Down the freezer aisle of course and a group of civilians, police and possibly some engineers are doing right that.

Why?

Well things have gotten a little odd in this supermarket in Milton Keynes and it’s time to find out why the freezers seem to be vibrating just a little too much.

Don’t worry though as Milton Keynes own expert psychic medium Mullholland D Rodgers is there to explain the strange world people are experiencing.

The Freezer Aisle is a stand alone adventure which forms part of The Mysteries of the Supermarket games running over the Conpulsion weekend.

GM: Phil Harris

System: Homebrew – Overkill

Intended Ages 18+

Richard K Morgan’s Altered Carbon setting using Shadowrun 4ed rules

A game using Shadowrun 4ed rules (with severe modifications), however set in the fictional universe of Richard K. Morgan’s Takeshi Kovacs novel series. A cyberpunk setting in which every person’s consciousness is stored in a stack implanted in the back of the neck. Human mind is digitalized, opening many possibilities, such as changing bodies (called sleeves), prison sentences are time spent on stack (off-line), some have achieved immortality this way, by always having a spare clone and a mind backup on a remote hard drive. The players would start with pre-generated characters and most likely instantly thrown into action. Possibly on the newly colonized planet Harlan’s World.

GM: Reinis (Rain) Rinka

System: Shadowrun 4th ed

Intended Ages: 16+

Fair Game uses dark/absurd comedy to explore the contradictions between belief and reality.

The premise from your characters perspective:

“You play a member of Sea Org, the elite wing of the Church of Scientology. You have been cleared of much of your Enturbulence and your OT has started to develop powers that can shape the MEST universe itself. You and your compatriots have been selected to undertake Operations on behalf on the Office of Special Affairs, tackling the most suppressive and vile opponents of Scientology. Only you can stop them. Only you can save mankind!”

In reality it should read:

“You play a member of Sea Org, a fanatical sect within the Church of Scientology. You will ignore anything that doesn’t conform to your world view and believe that you can perform supernatural powers, none of which actually work. You have been selected to harass, frame, extort and defame those who would expose the negative side of your church, while also acting as an internal policing force. You go after those who would have once have been openly labelled Fair Game.”

GM: Bubble Sanders (Real name expunged due to clear and present danger of Scientology reprisals)

System: Fair Game

Intended Ages: 14+
