Usually these agendas are [...]]]> In the world of Embraced, Vampires are spread throughout the globe, with most finding shelter within the largest cities. Through the Masquerade vampires can secretly exist, feed and spread their influence through these sprawling metropolises.

Wherever Vampires go, politicking naturally follows, and cities throughout the United Kingdom all have their own agendas. Usually these agendas are loosely united under the banner of the Camarilla, a sect dedicated to the survival of the Vampire species, but inevitably each city wants to come out on top.

Join us in any of our four settings in four very different British cities, where the Vampires of Embraced will make some truly life changing decisions as they seek their next children to bring into the fold. You will join the proceedings as a mortal character invited to a very exclusive evening, where if you are skilled or brave enough to rise above the rest and be one of the lucky chosen few, your blissful ignorance of these monsters will be shattered forever.

Those fortunate enough to be sired will then be sent to Edinburgh, where on the Saturday night they shall represent their home city at Prince Avery’s Ball, ever mindful of both their Sire’s and home city’s agenda. Since the defeat of the Sabbat in 2007, Edinburgh has been a frontier city with its once-great reputation in tatters. At an evening like this, anything can happen.

For those who do not get Vampire characters from the earlier events, other pre-made characters will be available. No previous knowledge of the Embraced system or plot is required for this event.

Winter King Machiavelli of the Freehold of Palazzonova is holding a Grand Spring Masked Ball, with guests from amongst his own court and other Freeholds. But there’s a plot afoot. In fact there are several plots afoot and not everyone is exactly who or what they claim to be. But then, when the King of Winter has been ruling non-stop for 5 years, and has named himself after the Rennaisance inventor of Political Science, what would one expect?

Knowledge of the general Lost or specific IoD setting is not necessary. All characters will be provided. The system is a very cut down WoD.

Costuming is encouraged but not essential. Appropriate costumes range from Rennaissance dress to modern outfits and can also include Fey make-up.

Some years ago an AI called AlIce became the first programme to pass the Turing Test. Unfortunately, with no additional programming she languished for a couple of months before being bought by an entrepeneur to act as a barrista at his new online Coffee Shop. Coffee wth AlIce quickly became one of the fashionable places to hang out, and people from most of the Megacorporations, franchised states, LEO stations and elsewhere could be found there. Today the owner is holding a very exclusive party where he intends to unveil his newest innovation: electronic coffee that you actually taste through your cyberlink. There must be some sort of profit to be made out of this.

This game is set in a cyberpunk world where AIs are frequently owned and run by many organisations from large to small and have a slavery subroutine programmed in by law. The actual event will be in what is essentially an avatar-based chatroom furnished as a coffee shop and the players will be representing the avatars of their characters. The system will be a relatively straightforward home-made one.

Costuming is encouraged and will be rewarded. As you will be playing an online avatar, ANY sort of costume would be appropriate.
