Coffee with AlIce – LARP

Some years ago an AI called AlIce became the first programme to pass the Turing Test. Unfortunately, with no additional programming she languished for a couple of months before being bought by an entrepeneur to act as a barrista at his new online Coffee Shop. Coffee wth AlIce quickly became one of the fashionable places to hang out, and people from most of the Megacorporations, franchised states, LEO stations and elsewhere could be found there. Today the owner is holding a very exclusive party where he intends to unveil his newest innovation: electronic coffee that you actually taste through your cyberlink. There must be some sort of profit to be made out of this.
This game is set in a cyberpunk world where AIs are frequently owned and run by many organisations from large to small and have a slavery subroutine programmed in by law. The actual event will be in what is essentially an avatar-based chatroom furnished as a coffee shop and the players will be representing the avatars of their characters. The system will be a relatively straightforward home-made one.
Costuming is encouraged and will be rewarded. As you will be playing an online avatar, ANY sort of costume would be appropriate.
